Iceland Mexico

The design is based on the neighborhood’s master plan, which designates the site as one of Kiryat Menachem’s key urban renewal zones along the light rail route. The proposal embodies a municipal policy of mixed-use development, while maintaining property rights, delivering meaningful public benefits, and restoring genuine value to the local community.

The project includes 676 diverse residential units – ranging from compact apartments to spacious five- and six-room homes – alongside commercial, office, and public spaces spanning approximately 11,500 square meters. Every space is designed to serve not only a functional purpose but also a communal one: gardens, pathways, active frontages, and human connections. The mix has been carefully crafted to meet the needs of families, young residents, and diverse populations, with the goal of creating a vibrant, inclusive, and accessible neighborhood.

The vision of Iceland–Mexico is not merely to build, but to weave a complete urban fabric. The project integrates upper-level residences with active commercial and employment frontages, open and accessible public buildings, and spatial planning that connects urban movement with a strong sense of community presence. From street level to rooftop, every element is designed to strengthen belonging, encourage interaction, and enable rich urban living. This is a neighborhood built with heart, with foresight — and with a true sense of place.
