Our Story
Identifying the Need
Taba Capital was founded in 2021 out of the understanding that the urban renewal market in Israel primarily serves developers, contractors, and local authorities and not always the apartment owners themselves.
For years, residents depended on external parties who defined the terms of the deal for them, often at the expense of their own interests.
Yinon and Erika, the company’s founders, recognized the need for change and decided to redefine the rules of the game: to make residents the leaders of the process, give them full control, and ensure that the value they receive truly reflects the real worth of their property rather than being dictated by the profit motives of others involved in the process.
The Vision Succeeded
The new model developed by Taba Capital has become the preferred choice for residents who wish to maximize the value of their property. Within a short time, the company has grown to become a leading force in the field of urban renewal in Jerusalem and the surrounding area, with around 20 employees and thousands of new housing units under development.
Beyond creating modern and high-quality living environments, Taba Capital is committed to preserving Jerusalem’s social fabric, strengthening local communities, and bringing residents back to the city.
For us, urban renewal is not merely a real estate initiative but a vision to improve the quality of life in the city, while preserving Jerusalem’s unique character and ensuring its future as a vibrant urban center.
Foundations
We act out of a genuine commitment to apartment owners, to protect their interests, maximize the value of their homes, and ensure a process that is clear, fair, and transparent
Value
We make sure that apartment owners receive the maximum value for their property.
Certainty
We approach the developer with an approved zoning plan and a finalized financial framework, and only then define the compensations. This way, residents know exactly what to expect — with no empty promises or surprises.
Control
We give residents real power to shape their future. They lead the process, choose the developer, and define the terms, all with full transparency and under conditions that serve their best interests.
The Founders
Inon Magzimof
CEO and Owner
Inon, 27, is a sixth-generation Jerusalemite who began his journey in real estate at the age of 17. While working in the field, advancing plans and leading residents through urban renewal processes, he realized that apartment owners are the true and most powerful partners in these projects. From this understanding came the idea to create a new model that turns apartment owners into full partners in both the planning and leadership of the process. This is how Taba Capital was founded.
In 2022, just one year after the company’s establishment, Yinon was recognized by 40 Under 40 magazine as one of the most promising young leaders.
As the company’s CEO, Yinon combines strong discipline, creative and flexible thinking, and close collaboration with a dynamic team that leads the advancement of dozens of projects across Jerusalem.
